Mr. Diaz is a proud product of Santa Ana that loves his community and is passionate about paying it forward to students. Mr. Diaz wants to invest in other student's lives as mentors, teachers and coaches have paved the path for him. Throughout Mr. Diaz's middle school experience he worked tirelessly to get involved in school clubs, maintain solid grades and balanced competitive sports such as cross country and track & field year round. When Mr. Diaz graduated from Segerstrom High School, he decided to attend Concordia University in Irvine, where he received his B.A in Behavioral Science on May 2015.
Mr. Diaz recently completed his Masters degree in Educational and Clinical Counseling at Azusa Pacific University, in the Winter of 2017. He is currently a school counselor, PAL advisor and RunStrong coach at McFadden Intermediate. His ultimate goal is to empower students to be leaders in their community, school, and home life in order to guide students and athletes alike to be successful in their chosen pursuits. Mr. Diaz also enjoys taking time to listen to students comments and concerns about school + life.
Aside from counseling and coaching, Mr. Diaz loves spending time with his family every weekend at family reunions. On his downtime he enjoys reading leadership books to help him grow and develop as an eager learner and educator.
